Idea 1 : Join Google Translate Community
Teach Google Translate how to speak your language better. It’s easy and fun
- Visit https://translate.google.com/community
- Sign in with your Google credentials if asked
- Select 2 to 5 languages of your choice
- Hit Save ! Thats it !!

Idea 2: Spend time in Google Crowdsource App
Teach Google Translate your language, help Google Photos identify objects, help Gboard understand handwriting, or contribute to an ever-growing and diverse library of images to help train machine learning models

- Chose languages of your choice. I chose Tamil & English

Idea 3 : Contribute to WikiSource
WikiSource keeps scanned copies of lot of valuable books/articles. But scanned images are not very readable.
If you are interested, you can transcribe those images to text or help proof read others transcription
E.g. I contributed to convert scanned copy of ஆல்பர்ட் ஐன்ஸ்டைனின் நம்மை மேம்படுத்தும் எண்ணங்கள் book to text.
To contribute to Tamil WikiSource
- Visit https://ta.wikisource.org/
- Create an account by clicking புதிய கணக்கை உருவாக்கவும் link in top right corner. Then login with that account
- Once you logged in, go to section மின்வருடிய நாட்டுடைமை நூல்களின் மெய்ப்பு விவரங்கள் in home page
- Click on மெய்ப்பு பார்க்கப்படாத மின்னூல்கள் (Not proof read)
- You can chose any pdf mentioned in the list & start proof read it
